Hancock County Disaster Relief
The Kiwanis Club of Findley worked with the Red Cross, Salvation Army and Findlay City Schools to provide backpacks of school supplies for children after their community was flooded at the beginning of the school year. Members of Kiwanis collected school supplies at the Wal-Mart store, matched the supplies with each class requirement list, packed the backpacks and distributed them to over 270 students. Disaster Relief is a special fund of the Ohio District Kiwanis Foundation to provide support to Kiwanis communities in need.
